Hello everyone,

How’s life with you? We’re getting ready for our schedule change next week. Every year in February we change the schedule and have our annual spring campaign. Some students are changing class from kindergarten classes to PLS classes. They’ll have to get used to new things like sitting at a desk and having a 10 minute longer class. I’m sure they’ll adapt quickly. It’s nice to see them grow up. Other students will start junior high school classes or grammar classes. Some will have new students and new teachers. It can be sad to say goodbye to old teachers and friends but it’s a good opportunity to speak English with different people and to hear different accents and way of speaking.

 

We have already had lots of potential new students sign up for trial classes. We’ll start those next week. I look forward to meeting them and hope many will join Hario English School. Also, some of our students finishing high school are leaving us to start university. We are sending Kitkats to them as a good luck momento. Kitkat sounds like the Japanese phrase “きっと勝つ”　”Kitto katsu” which means “In the end, you’ll win” so it has become a good luck symbol in Japan. Are you going through any changes in your life? If you are, I hope they are positive and in the end, you’ll win.

みなさん、こんにちは。

お元気ですか。HARIOイングリッシュスクール は来週からの新しいスケジュールに向けて準備をしています。毎年２月に、スケジュール変更があり、同時に春の「入会キャンペーン」が始まります。

幼児クラスからPLS（小学生クラス）に進級する生徒さんもいますね。

PLSクラスになると絨毯での授業から椅子に座って５０分のレッスン（１０分長くなる）になります。

きっと幼児クラスから進級する生徒のみなさんは、そのようなチェンジにも即座に対応できるでしょう。

彼らが成長していく様子を頼もしく思います。

また、小学生クラスから中学生クラスに進級する生徒さん、文法クラスを始める生徒さんもいますね。

クラス変更により、先生やクラスメートが変わる生徒さんもいます。

先生やクラスメートにサヨナラするのは悲しいですが、新しい人々と英語を話すよい機会にもなります。

違う先生の話し方アクセントを聞くのもまた勉強になります。

 

すでに春のキャンペーンに向けて、無料体験の申し込みをたくさんいただいております。

それらの体験授業も来週からスタートします。私は新しい生徒のみなさんに会えることを楽しみしています。またより多くの皆さんがHARIOイングリッシュスクール に仲間入りしてくれればと思います。

そして、高校３年生の生徒の皆さんが、大学受験準備のためHARIOイングリッシュスクールを卒業しています。彼らに、「がんばってね」の気持ちをこめて「キットカット」（合格祈願バージョン）を送りました。

キットカットは、「きっと勝つ」と聞こえます。最後には勝つという意味です。今では、受験のシンボルですね。

みなさんには、人生の中の「チェンジ」がありますか。もしあるのならば、そのチェンジがうまくいき「きっと勝つ、成功する」結果となることを願います。
