Hey, so in this weeks blog I would like to talk about my time in Shizuoka. As some of you may know, I will be leaving Shizuoka at the end of this month. I have lived in Shizuoka for nearly four years and I have really enjoyed my time here.

 

When I originally came to Shizuoka, I was living in a small city called Yaizu. It was fun living in Yaizu, but apart from hiking and walking along the sea front there was nothing else to do. Whilst I was living in Yaizu, I spent the majority of my time in Shizuoka city. I was either exploring the city or playing games in one of the amusement centers. After living in Yaizu for nearly two years, I decided to move to Fuji as I knew people who were already living in the area.

When I first moved to Fuji, I spent a lot of my time exploring the area. I would often go for little adventures in my free time. I would also spend a lot of time with my friends playing games in Round1 or visiting nearby areas such as Fujinomiya and Kofu. I have really enjoyed living in Fuji these past two years. I have made a lot of good memories and the people who live in Fuji have always been nice to me.

Overall I am very glad that I decided to live in Shizuoka when I first came to Japan. Because I decided to live in Shizuoka, I was able to have so many new experiences such as climbing the two highest mountains in Japan, going to local festivals, strawberry picking and having a beach fires by the sea in Mochimune. But I look forward to making some new experiences in Fukuoka and hopefully one day soon, I will come back to Shizuoka and tell you all about them.

みなさん、こんにちは。ショーンです。

今週は、静岡での思い出を話したいと思います。ご存じの方も多いと思いますが、私は今月静岡を去ります。

静岡に住み始めてもうすぐ４年になります。この４年、私にはいい思い出がたくさんです。

初めて静岡に来たとき、最初は焼津市に住んでいました。焼津での生活は楽しかったですが、ハイキングや海沿いを散歩する以外には、特にやることがありませんでした。なのでほとんどの時間は、静岡市で過ごしました。市街を探検したり、アミューズメントセンターでゲームをしたりしてました。焼津で２年を過ごした後、知り合いのいる富士市に引越しました。

富士市に最初に来た時、市内探検に時間を費やしました。暇な時間があるとよく発見散歩にでかけました。また友人とラウンド１に行ったり、富士宮や甲府に遊びに行ったりもしました。この２年間、富士での生活は本当に楽しかったです。沢山の思い出ができ、いい人々との出会いも沢山ありました。

結果的に、日本で初めて住んだのが静岡でよかったなと思っています。静岡にいたからこそ、富士山や北岳に登ったり、地元のお祭りに参加したり、いちご狩りをしたり、用宗の海でたき火をしたり、いろんな人生初の思い出ができたからです。来月には福岡に引っ越します。福岡でも新しい体験、経験ができるのを楽しみにしています。そしていつかまた、静岡に遊びにきて、皆さんに福岡での近況をお話しするでしょう。
