Hello everyone,
Happy Halloween! Today is Halloween itself but all this week we’ve been in costume and trick-or-treating. My costume this year is an orange pumpkin man. I’m wearing orange everything: socks, slippers, trousers, shirt, cape and hat. The students (with lots of help from their parents in many cases) have come up with many elaborate and brilliant costumes. I taught a dinosaur on Monday, Ultraman and Doraemon on Tuesday and Alice in Wonderland yesterday, to name just a few. I wonder who’ll show up today?!
Also today we are saying goodbye to Rina. She started working here in January but she’s leaving us to start a family and a new life in Hokkaido. I’m very excited for her but sad to see her go. I know she really loved working here and will miss all the students. I’m sure you’ll miss her, too. Good luck, Rina!

みなさん、こんにちは。
ハッピー、ハロウィン！
今日が本当のハロウィンの日ですが、HARIOイングリッシュスクールでは、今週一週間が
コスチュームで学校にくる週です。私の今年のコスチュームは、オレンジのかぼちゃマンです。
すべてオレンジのものと身に着けています。
靴下、スリッパ、ズボン、シャツ、マントそして帽子です。
生徒達もとっても凝った、アイディアなコスチュームを着てきています。
私の生徒達は、月曜日が恐竜、火曜日がウルトラマンとドラえもん、水曜日がアリス
まだまだたくさんありました。
今日は何が現れるのか、楽しみです。
そして今日は、リナの最後の日です。彼女は１月から働きはじめました。
旦那様と新しい命と共に、北海道に引っ越します。
彼女の新しい旅立ちを嬉しくおもう一方で、あえなくなるのは寂しく思います。
彼女はここで働くことがとても好きでした。そして生徒達にあえなくなり淋しく思うでしょう。
皆さんも淋しいでしょう。
