How’s your week? Last weekend we celebrated the 2nd anniversary of Hario English School at a fish restaurant called Sakana Mochizuki. The owner is also Alan’s student. The food from his restaurant was delicious and the service was great. I tried sakura ebi tempura for the first time and it was really good. Thank you very much.
We are practicing songs right now in first year PLS classes and kindergarten classes. Like every year, we will eventually perform those songs on the stage at the speech contest in November. One is the Beatles classic, ‘Twist and Shout’. Most students don’t know because they’re too young but it’s catchy and easy to learn I think. Yuka has helped with the dancing, so I think we can do a good job this year. The other song is a Halloween song called, ‘Knock, Knock, Trick or Treat’ from Super Simple English. It’s a fun Halloween song where the students pretend to be different Halloween characters. The verses each have a different character. The order is ghost, cowboy, witch, monster, ballerina and pirate. I made this mobile as a reminder for students (Yui helped me, Thank you Yui). I hope the students like it. Maybe I’ll wear it on the stage this year during the performance.
Thank you for reading. Have a great week,
Kevin
