Preparing for the big day!　大切な日にむけて

Hello everyone,

The Hario Speech Contest 2014 is just around the corner this Saturday. The staff and students alike are all busy preparing to put on a great show. I can’t think of a better way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon than at the buzzing excitement of our contest at LaHall, can you? There won’t just be speeches, we’ll have singing, dancing, videos and, of course, the nerve-wracking winners announcements. Who will win a ticket to Disneyland this year?
We had rehearsals for the 10th rank song and dance last Saturday. The kids had a great time practicing for the big day. I’m sure they’ll make their parents very proud. We have four songs lined up, with different lead groups for each song, so every student will have time at the front of the stage.
I’m looking forward to Saturday, it will be the second speech contest for me since I started at Hario. I had a great time last year, and I know that this year will be a huge success, thanks to all the students’ hard work and dedication. Good luck to all of you!

みなさんこんにちは、

HARIOイングリッシュスクールスピーチコンテスト2014がいよいよ土曜日に迫ってきました。スタッフも生徒さんたちも、素晴らしい会になるよう準備に一生懸命取り組んでいます土曜の午後は寒い外で過ごすよりも、コンテストを見に室内で過ごす方が得策かもしれませんよコンテストでは、スピーチの発表だけではなく、歌とダンスの発表やビデオ上映、もちろんドキドキの結果発表もあります。今年は誰がディズニーチケットを手に入れるでしょうか？

先週の午後はPLS10級と幼児クラスの生徒さんたちによる歌とダンスの発表のリハーサルがありました。皆、コンテストにむけて一生懸命練習してくれました。出演するご家族の皆様には、子供たちを誇りに思っていただけるとおもいます。今年は4曲、すべての曲でメインボーカルが変わりますので、生徒さん全員にステージの前にでて歌う機会があります。
