So when I was in Kawaguchiko, I went to the Chureito Pagoda. I had seen this view before as it is a popular view to showcase the beauty of Japan to foreigners.

It is a five storey pagoda in Arakurayama-Sengen park. It is a little far away from Kawaguchiko statio and Lake Kawaguchiko but if you have time and want to see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and the city, then I highly recommend it. As I mentioned this place has now became popular as it showcases the beauty of Japan. Depending on the season you can snap a photo of Mt.Fuji, Cherryblossoms and the Pagoda at the same time. This has made the perfect spot for people who are wanting to capture a photo which represents the three symbols of Japan.

The Chureito Pagoda is located at the top of the 398 stone steps from the bottom. If you are not wanting to take the walk, then you can reach the top by car. However you wont be able to enjoy the view of Mt.Fuji while going up the stone steps. If you are physically fit then you can run up the steps in two minutes. When I went I saw people running up and down the steps as a form of physical training.

みなさん、こんにちは。ショーンです。

先週、山梨にある忠霊塔に行きました。忠霊塔は外国人に人気の観光スポットです。

忠霊塔は、朝倉山浅間公園にある五重塔で、河口湖駅や河口湖からも遠いのですが、富士山と忠霊塔との景色が非常に素晴らしく、お勧めです。季節によっては、富士山と桜と忠霊塔を一枚の写真におさめることができます。

忠霊塔は３９８段の石段を上ったところにあります。階段をのぼるのがきらいな人は、車でもいけます。しかし階段をのぼりながらの景色がとてもいいです。運動している人ならば、２分で登りきれます。私が行ったときも、この石段を登ったり下りたりしてトレーニングをしている人をみかけました。
