Hello everyone,

It’s back to school time for many students this week. Most elementary schools in Fuji started back on Tuesday. It was only a half day at school on the first day back, but I’m sure many kids are sleepy after having to get up early in the morning again. If they spent the summer vacation going to bed late and getting up late, it would be like jet-lag adjusting back to the school routine. Many students were very busy finishing their summer vacation homework. In elementary school, they often have to paint a picture or a calligraphy piece. My daughter painted a spectacular night view of Mount Fuji with Fuji City’s lights at its base.

Many of Hario’s students are going back to school with a big step up in their English abilities after attending our summer classes. Go ahead and impress your teachers!

Hario’s Autumn Campaign is kicking off this week! I’m looking forward to our second campaign of the year and can’t wait to meet our newest students. It can be nerve -wracking for kids meeting a foreign teacher for the first time. They don’t know what to expect from our classes. However, once we begin they can see how fun it can be to learn English with us. See you in our Autumn Campaign!

みなさん、こんにちは。

今週から、多くの生徒さんが新学期を迎えています。富士市のほとんどの小学校は火曜日に始まりました。

初日は半日だけの登校でしたが、夏休み中に夜更かししていた子どもたちは、久しぶりの早起きで眠そうだったかもしれません。まるで時差ボケのように、学校の生活リズムに戻るのは大変ですよね

夏休みの宿題を仕上げるのに忙しかった生徒さんも多かったようです。小学校では、絵画や書道の課題が出ることもあります。

うちの娘は、富士市の夜景と富士山を描いた、とても素敵な絵を仕上げました

HARIOの生徒さんたちの多くは、夏期講習を通して英語力がぐんと伸びて、新学期を迎えています。

ぜひ学校で先生たちを驚かせてくださいね。
