Hello everyone,

It’s a little cooler than usual today. I think the autumn weather is finally here, and we can look forward to warm weather instead of the boiling hot summer. The weather has been very temperamental recently though. The changing of the seasons has brought lots of rain, and of course last week’s typhoon.

Last weekend, I took my daughter to the swimming pool for the first time. She has played in small paddling pools in our garden and at kindergarten, but this was her first time at a public pool. We went to the kid’s pool in Obuchi on Saturday, and she had so much fun we went to another pool in Shizuoka on Sunday. Yurara pool in Shizuoka city is great fun for the family. They have small water slides and it’s not too deep for younger kids. She really enjoys the pool so perhaps she’ll take up swimming when she’s older. I was wondering what sport she will try. Maybe tennis? There was big tennis news for Japan this week. Congratulations to Naomi Osaka for winning the U.S. open. She beat Serena Williams in front of her home audience in the U.S. She is only 20 years old, and experts say she might become Japan’s first world number one in the future. Good luck to her.

We’ve had a few birthday recently here at Hario. Nao’s was at the end of August, and Yui’s was last week at the beginning of September. Do you know who turned 5 years old this month? That’s right! Happy birthday Hario! We celebrated Hario’s birthday on Sunday with a delicious dinner party. I remember when Hario began 5 years ago. I had only been working here a few months at the time. I’ve had a wonderful 5 years working here since then and wish Hario many more years of success and happiness.

Next week is Silver Week. I’m planning to stick around in Fuji and take my family out to local places. Enjoy the break and I’ll see you in two weeks.

みなさんこんにちは。

今日はいつもより少し涼しいですね。

秋の気候がついにやってきて、うだるような暑い夏の代わりに暖かい気候が待ち遠しいです。

天気はここのところとても予測できない天気が続いてはいますけれども。

季節の変わり目は多くの雨そしてもちろん先週の台風をもたらしました。

 

先週末私は娘をはじめてプールへ連れて行きました。

娘は幼稚園や庭の小さなバタ足プールで遊んできましたが、これが彼女のはじめての公共プールでした

土曜日には大渕のキッズプールへ行き、日曜日には静岡市の別のプールへ行きました。

静岡市のゆららプールは家族連れにとって非常に楽しいところです。

そこにはウォータースライドがあり、小さな子供にも深すぎません。

娘はとても喜んでいたので、もしかすると、大きくなったら水泳を始めるかもしれません。

彼女は何のスポーツを始めるのでしょう。テニスでしょうか

今週は日本でテニスの大きなニュースがありました大阪なおみ選手、全米オープン優勝おめでとうございます

彼女はアメリカでセレーナウィリアムズ選手をその故郷の観衆の前で打ち負かしました。

まだたったの２０歳で、専門家は彼女は日本初の世界一に将来なるかもしれないと言っています。がんばってください

 

ここ最近HARIOではいくつかお誕生日がありました

奈緒の誕生日が８月末、ゆいの誕生日が先週９月のはじめでした。みなさん今月誰が５歳になるか知っていますか

わたしたちは日曜日においしい夕食会とともにHARIOの誕生日をお祝いしました。私はHARIOが始まった５年前を覚えています。

その時はまだほんの数ヶ月しかここで働いていませんでした。

それ以来私はここで働きながら素晴らしい５年間を過ごしました。そしてHARIOの今後何十年もの成功と幸せを祈っています。

 

来週はシルバーウィークです。わたしは富士周辺にとどまり、家族と近場に遊びにいって過ごしたいと思っています。お休みを楽しんでください。また二週間後にお会いしましょう。
