Hello everyone,

It’s officially mid-winter now. This is usually the coldest time of the year here in Japan, but it never gets super-cold in Fuji, which is a great plus to living here. I’ve never lived anywhere that has snow for long periods of time, but I’ve heard that it makes life difficult. People have to change their car tyres, shovel snow in front of their houses and make preparations for snow. I take it for granted that we can expect to be snow-free all year round here. Roll-on spring!

Last weekend our students took the eiken exams. We teach all grades of eiken, and it’s great to see our students progress through them like stepping stones, from 5th all the way up to pre-1st. They will have to wait now until the results come out, but good luck to all of you!

There is just over a week to go until the Hario spring campaign kicks off! It’s the perfect time to start your English journey with us. You can come and try four lessons with us for free. いよいよ本格的に冬の寒さですね。

ここ日本では通常、この時期が一年で最も寒い時期ですが、富士では極度に寒くなることがないので、住むにはとてもありがたいことです。長期間雪が降る地域に住んだことはありませんが、雪が降ると生活が大変になると聞いたことがあります

人々は車のタイヤを交換したり、家の前の雪かきをしたり、雪の準備をしなければなりません。

ここ静岡では一年中雪がないのが当然だと私は思っていますが、春が恋しい、はやく春よこい

先週末、HARIOの生徒達は英検®を受けました。

私たちは全級の生徒を教えており、生徒たちが5級から準1級まで、飛び石のように上達していく姿をみるのはとてもうれしいことです。 結果が出るまで待たなければなりませんが、皆さんの幸運を祈ります
