Hello everyone,

Our students have written their speeches and now we are busy translating and recording them to make the speech homework. There are so many speeches (100 of them!) that this process takes some time, so be patient and they will be ready to practice over the summer. There have been some really interesting speeches, it’s great to get to know all about our students’ hobbies, interests and lives outside of Hario. I’m looking forward to seeing them perform the speeches themselves and making us all proud. Learning a speech in your native language is hard enough, but learning one in a foreign language is a very daunting task. Our speech vetereans already know what they have to do, but our first-timers will have to wait and see how challenging the task is. Good luck!

There’s a lot more to look forward to here at Hario, as we continue with some shopping trips later this month. Also, our picnic trip to Makaino farm is only 3 weeks away! On June 7th, we’ll have an amazing day out at Makaino, so I’m looking forward to the big event. What are you looking forward to this summer?

みなさん、こんにちは！

生徒たちはスピーチホームワークのための作文を書き終えました。

そして今はＨＡＲＩＯスタッフはそのスピーチを翻訳し、録音して宿題用の音声を作る作業に追われています。

スピーチの数が100以上もあるので、この作業には少し時間がかかります。

ですので、気長に待っていてください！夏の間には始められるように準備を進めています

とても興味深いスピーチがたくさんあって、生徒たちの趣味や興味、学校外での生活を知る良い機会となっています。

生徒たちが自分たちのスピーチを発表する姿を見るのがとても楽しみで、きっと私たちを誇らしく思わせてくれることでしょう。母国語でのスピーチを覚えるのも大変なことですが、外国語でのスピーチとなると、とても勇気がいることだと思います。

スピーチ経験者は何をすべきか既に分かっていますが、初めての生徒たちはこれがどれほど挑戦的なことか、きっと実感するでしょう。頑張ってください

 

ハリオでは、今月後半のショッピングin English（課外授業）など、まだまだ楽しみなイベントが続きます

そして、まかいの牧場へのピクニック旅行まであと3週間です

6月7日にはそこで素晴らしい一日を過ごす予定で、この大イベントが待ちきれません
