How are you doing? There’s a lot of flu going around so try to stay well and remember to wash your hands. Hario’s campaign is continuing and we are looking for new students to fill our new classes. Come and try 4 free lessons! Also, during spring vacation, we are offering special conversation lessons during the day. It’s only 2000 yen for a 30 minute, one on one class (it would usually cost 3750 yen for such a class). Many places have been filled already so sign up quickly. We will make an individually crafted lesson based on what you want to study. Test practice, travel English, conversation practice, working on your weak points -whatever it is just let us know.
Last Sunday was St. Valentine’s Day. Thank you to the students who gave chocolates. It was very kind of you all. My wife and I celebrated Valentine’s Day (and also the day we met 7 years ago) by going on a day trip. We went to Mt. Takao in Tokyo. You can take a chair lift so it’s an easy hike if you’re not a big hiker (like my wife). At the top there was a lovely view of the Tokyo Skyline. We also went to an owl cafe in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa on the way back. It was a lovely, unique experience. Owls are remarkable creatures and to be able to see them up close and pet them was amazing. One day I want to see an owl in the wild.
Thanks for reading. Have a great week.
