Final Preparations for the Speech Contest 最終準備

Hello everyone,

In just over a week, we will hold our speech contest, our annual showcase, at La Hall in Fuji City. Are you coming? Are you excited? We’ve been preparing for a couple of months and we’re just putting the finishing touches to everything. This Saturday, our younger students will come for a rehearsal for their song and dance performance. Rehearsals in class have been good, so I hope the students can relax and do the same on the big stage. Students performing speeches have been making introduction movies. It’s my job to put them all on the computer and to show them on the day. There are some funny introduction movies and it’s nice to see the students show their different personalities in them. I hope you’ll like them when we show them on the day. I have a small speaking role on the stage and I’m practicing what I’m going to say in Japanese.

Until then, have a good week. Also, good luck to all of our students taking Eiken interview exams this Sunday. Just relax and do your best.

みなさん、こんにちは。
あと一週間後には、HARIOのスピーチコンテストが開かれます。
毎年開催する大きなイベントの一つであり、今年もラ・ホール富士を使用します。
みなさんは会場にきますか？楽しみですか？
我々は、この２、３か月の間、このための準備をしてきました。
今は準備は最終段階に入っています。
今週の土曜日は、PLS１０級９級＆幼児クラスの発表タイムのリハーサルが行われます。
クラス内での仕上がりは順調です。
あとは、大きなステージで彼らがいつも通りのパフォーマンスができることを
願うばかりです
私は、スピーチの紹介ムービーの編集を担当しています。このムービーは参加者の皆さんに
作成をお願いしました。いくつか面白いムービーがありました。
それぞれ出場者のムービーがとても個性があるので、観客の皆さんもとても楽しめると思います。私はコンテストの中で日本語で少し話す場面があるので、その部分を練習しています。
