Typhoon approaching　台風接近中

Hello everyone,

It’s been so hot and humid these last few days! There is a typhoon approaching Japan now, but fortunately it looks like it will only hit the western part of the country. Fuji should be clear of the storm but we might have rain as it passes through. Hopefully that will bring us to the end of the rainy season this year. The end of the rainy seaon reminds me that the Fuji Festival will be taking place at the end of July. It is on the 4th Saturday of July every year. I’m hoping to see it this year, especially the spectacular fireworks display. The last time I saw it was two years ago and I was blown away!
At Hario this week we are putting the finishing touches to the speech homework CDs. The students will receive their speech files soon. There are some very cool illustrations on the CD. The students think it’s hilarious! I wonder if they recognize the characters. It’s an exciting time for the students to get their own personal speech pack. They can’t wait to get practicing!

みなさんこんにちは。

ここ最近は暑い日が続いていますね。台風も近づいています。今回は主に日本の西側に直撃するようですが、富士には直撃しないようですが、それに伴い雨が降るかもしれません
今年は次の雨で梅雨の季節が終わると思います。雨季の終わりというと、7月に開催される富士祭りを思い出します。毎年、7月の第4土曜日に行われています。私は今年も楽しみにしていて、特にとても綺麗な花火を見るのが待ち遠しいです。私が富士祭りの花火を見たのは2年前でしたが、とても感動しました

そしてHARIOではスピーチホームワークの最後の仕上げに入っています。生徒の皆さん、もうすぐ配布となります。そしてＣＤにプリントされているデザイン、最高です。みなさんは面白いと思うかもしれませんが。皆さんは誰がどのキャラクターかわかるでしょうか？生徒の皆さんにとってＣＤをもらうのはとても興奮する瞬間ではないでしょうか？練習するのも待ちきれないと思います
