Hario’s spring campaign　　春の入会キャンペーン

Hello everyone,

If you get the newspapers, have a look at the advertisement flyer inside today. You’ll find a nice, colourful ad for Hario’s spring campaign. With our spring campaign underway, we look forward to welcoming many new students to Hario. The students can look forward to all the fun classes, new friends and exciting events that make the Hario experience. They also get to learn real, conversational English, along with social skills, classroom etiquette and self-confidence. Furthermore, they can develop the skills needed to pass the important Eiken tests. The sample lessons are starting soon, so come along and see for yourself.
Speaking of Eiken tests, they were held here last weekend, and many of our students took them. I noticed that there are many common English phrases used that don’t really translate directly into Japanese. As a native speaker, I use many of these phrases every day, and I think it’s important to use them as much as possible around our students. That’s “real” conversational English, and it has great benefits both inside and outside of the classroom.

英検と言えば、先週末にHARIOで英検が行われ、たくさんの生徒さんが受験しました。
英検の問題を見ましたが、日本語ではあまり使わないフレーズなのですが、英語では日常で頻繁に使用するフレーズがたくさん使用されていました。
これからは生徒さん達に、できるだけたくさん、これらのフレーズを使っていこうと思いました。
それが、『本物』の英会話ですねクラスの中でも外でも英語を使う事が大切です。
