The World Cup is over already ワールドカップ終了

Hello everyone,

Well the World Cup is over, it always passes by so quickly. Congratulations to Germany, I think it was a well deserved win. They may not have had the best individual players, but they had the best team. It`s a pity I didn`t get to watch many matches, I only got to watch the goals or highlights of some of the games. I couldn`t wake up at 5am to watch the games, my will to sleep is too strong! From what I`ve heard it was a great world cup, with a record equaling number of goals, some big surprises and shocking score lines.

This week at Hario, the students are getting their speech CD packs. Our students are really excited to get them, they can`t wait to start practicing! In it they get their speech, vocabulary and a CD to listen to myself or Kevin dictating their speech. They should listen to it and practice as much as possible to perfect their pronunciation and intonation. Learning a speech is a daunting task, but our students are all capable of a fantastic performance, good luck to you all!

みなさんこんにちは。

ワールドカップが終わってしまいましたね。いつもいつも、あっという間です。ドイツ、おめでとう。スター選手はいないかもしれませんが、ベストチームだったように思います。いくつかの試合のゴールの瞬間をハイライトでしか見ていなく、あまり試合を観なかったのが惜しいです。睡眠欲の方が強すぎて、とても５時には起きられませんでした。聞いたところによると今年のワールドカップは、ゴール数が過去最多記録と並んだり、驚くべきスコアラインがあったり、素晴らしかったようですね

今週HARIOでは、生徒さんたちにスピーチ教材が配布になっています。みんなわくわくしていて、練習を始めるのが待ちきれないようです。教材の中には、スピーチ原稿と語彙、私とケビンが録音をしたCDが入っています。それを聞いて、発音やイントネーションをできるだけたくさん練習します。スピーチを学習するのは大変ですが、HARIOの生徒さんたちなら素晴らしいスピーチができるはずです。みんな、がんばってね。
