What`s an Irish breakfast?　アイリッシュブレックファストって何？

Hello everyone,

What a nice, sunny day it is today! It really feels like summer now, I think we had the hottest day of the year so far yesterday. I see many people clapping their hands trying to catch mosquitos at this time of year, but the warm weather is worth it.

It`s only a week and a half until Hario `s camping trip! Have you signed up yet? It promises to be an unforgettable trip. We have so much fun activities packed in to both days, and kids learn best when they`re enjoying themselves. Hopefully they`ll get to try some new food if they`re feeling adventurous. I have noticed a few different types of food that are popular in Ireland and very difficult to find here in Japan. I miss Irish sausages the most. They are very different to the Japanese style of sausage, and tastier in my opinion. They go into an “Irish breakfast”. This consists of fried sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, white pudding, baked beans and toast. White pudding is a special type of pork meat and baked beans are soft beans in tomato sauce. Both are very hard to find here! Hopefully we will be able to make some form of an Irish breakfast at Hario camp. You can`t beat a good fry-up in the morning.

今日はとても晴れ晴れしていていいですね。もう夏のような気候で、私が思うに昨日は今年一番の暑さだったんじゃないかと思います。この時期はみんな蚊を捕まえようと手を叩いているのを見ます。でも蚊が出てきても暖かい気候っていいですよね

さて、Hario のキャンプまであと1週間と少しとなりました。もうお申込みは済みましたか？忘れられないキャンプになるのは間違いありません2日間、面白いアクティビティが沢山です。そして食事の時間、もし興味があれば皆さんが食べたことがないであろうアイルランドの食べ物にも挑戦してみてください。私は「アイリッシュソーセージ」が一番食べたいものですが、アイルランドの食材は日本ではなかなか手に入れる事ができませんアイリッシュソーセージは日本のソーセージとは違います。そして私が思うにはアイリッシュソーセージの方が美味しいですアイリッシュソーセージはアイリッシュブレックファストに含まれるもので、これはソーセージ、ベーコン、卵、トマト、ホワイトプディング、ベイクドビーンズから成るアイルランドの伝統的な朝食です。ホワイトプディングとは特別な種類の豚肉の事で、ベイクドビーンズとはトマトソースで味付けした豆の事です。これらを日本で見つけるのはとても難しいので、ハリオのキャンプではなんらかの形でアイリッシュブレックファストにできたらと思いますアイリッシュブレックファストは最高です
