Hello to everyone at Hario!

 

 

This is Alan Morriss (I know, it’s confusing now there are 2 Alans) and this is my first blog post here at Hario, while it has only just been just over a month since I returned to Japan and began working at Hario, it has felt much longer! During that time I have really enjoyed meeting you all and starting teaching here at Hario!

 

After 8 years away from Japan, it has been so nice to be back. I realized how much I missed life here after moving back to my home country of the UK. The food, the weather (when it isn’t too hot), and the convenience of life are all great parts of living here. I have been enjoying going back to some of my favorite restaurants and places, while a lot of things are the same so much has changed in the time I have been away.

 

I had previously lived and taught English nearby in Numazu for almost 10 years, where I met my wife and have fond memories of my time then.

 

My family and I are happy to be back living in Japan and look forward to our new life here!

アランが２人もいて混乱しますよね。HARIOにきて約1か月たちますが、今回が私の初めてのブログとなります。皆さんに会い、教えることを楽しんでいます。

日本は８年ぶりになります。イギリスにいたときに日本での生活にどれだけ戻りたかったことか。食べもの、天気（猛暑以外）、便利な生活・・・大好きだったレストランや場所をまた訪ねていますが、８年の間に大きく変わっています

日本にいた時、私は１０年間沼津市で英語の講師をしていました。そこで妻と出会い、たくさんの良い思い出があります。

私と家族は日本に帰ってきて幸せであり、またここで生活する日々を楽しみにしています。
