I can’t believe it’s almost a year since I came back to Japan. Time has flown so quickly this year and last week was Golden Week!

日本に帰ってきてから1年が経ったなんて信じられません！

時が経つのはとても早いもので、先週はゴールデンウィークでしたね

Also, last week on the May 6^th the coronation of King Charles III took place in London at Westminster Abbey. This was the first coronation in 70 years and was a Bank Holiday weekend in the UK, with many parties and celebrations being held to celebrate the day.

そして、5月6日はチャールズ3世の戴冠式が、ウェストミンスター寺院で行われました。

この70年間で初めての戴冠式で、イギリスではたくさんのパーティやお祝いが行われたんですよ

#King Charles III

The ceremony which has remained much the same for more than 1,000 years is mostly symbolic and formalises Charles III’s role as monarch and head of the Church of England.

1000年以上も前から同じように行われているこのお祝いは、

チャールズ3世がイギリスの君主であることを象徴するものです

The day starts with a Royal procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, with the ceremony starting at 11 am. Once the ceremony is over the King and Queen will return to Buckingham Palace. There with other members of the Royal Family, they will greet the crowds gathered in The Mall (the area directly in front of the palace) from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

その日は、11時からバッキンガム宮殿で王室の参列から始まります。

セレモニーが終わると、王様と女王様は宮殿へと帰っていくのですが、そこでは他の王室ファミリーたちが待っていて、

宮殿から直接繋がっているバルコニーにて大衆のみなさんに挨拶をするんです
