Hello everyone,

Easter is on the way this month. Usually this means we can eat lots of chocolate eggs, but this year the government has banned all chocolate from stores because of covid. So we can’t buy chocolate anymore! April Fools! Just kidding, of course chocolate isn’t banned. It’s the first of April, so don’t believe any stories you might hear today. It’s the day when people play tricks on each other all over the world. The BBC news in the U.K. have done many famous trick news stories over the years. For example, once they did a story about making soccer goal posts much taller and wider. They even got real players to try out goal posts that were 10 meters wide. Many people called the football association to complain, but they were reminded that it was April 1st, so it was a joke. What’s the best practical joke you have ever played on someone? It’s time to think of one before the end of the day.

April 1st also marks the launch of Hario’s Spring Campaign 2022! Now we are welcoming all new students to come and have 4 trial lessons with us for free. I’m really excited to meet the new students. They have such a great English journey ahead. Some of our recently graduated High School students have visited us and told us what university they got into. I remember teaching them as young kids many years ago. It’s amazing to see how far they have come. Start your English journey at Hario!

今月はイースターがやってきます。イースターが来るということは、たくさんのチョコレートエッグを食べられるということですが、今年はコロナの影響で政府がすべての店にチョコレート販売禁止令をだしましたなので今年はチョコレートを変えませんというのはうそで、今日はエイプリルフールです。もちろんチョコレートは販売禁止されておりません

今日は４月１日です。今日、人から聞くことは信じないようにしましょう。この日は世界中で嘘が飛び交います。イギリスのBBCニュースでは、毎年この日に嘘の記事が掲載されます。例えば、サッカーゴールの高さと幅を広げるというニュースで、実際に本物の選手に、１０メートル幅のゴールポストにシュートを決めてもらいました。多くの苦情がサッカー協会にきて、彼らはその話がエイプリルフールだと気づきました。皆さんがエイプリルフールについた一番の嘘はなんですか。４月１日が終わるまえに嘘を考えましょう。

４月１日はまた、HARIOの春のキャンペーンが始まる日でもあります。皆さん参加を歓迎いたします。この期間中は最大で４回体験レッスンを受講できます。私はあたしい生徒の皆さんに会えるのを楽しみにしています。皆さんはこれから素晴らしい英語学習への始まりを経験することでしょう。先月は、たくさんのＨＡＲＩＯの高３の卒業生たちが、進学先の報告に来てくれていました。彼らがまた英語を習い始めだった時のことを思いだします。そしてそこからHARIOを卒業するまでの上達度に驚いています。
