Hello everyone!

 

Good luck to all those students doing their high school entrance examinations! I hope you worked hard and are able to get into your chosen schools. It’s a difficult time and even if you don’t get it, don’t worry. You’ll be joining clubs and making friends no matter where you go!

 

This past weekend I took a VERY short trip to Daegu, Korea! There was a lot of travel time going from Fuji to Tokyo to Korea. Daegu is a shopping city much like Shizuoka. Everywhere I went there were department stores, markets and shoppers everywhere. I was able to get some souvenirs for family and have a nice Korean style steak dinner!

 

In the evening I wanted to try out the cool Virtual Reality arcades that are all over Korea. I was able to play a racing game where I drove for 50km through Austria, a monster shooting game that was very intense and a game where my job was to slice as many fruits and vegetables as I could!

みなさんこんにちは、マットです！

 

高校入試の受験生のみなさん、頑張ってください！みなさんが全力を尽くし、希望の高校へ行けることを願っています。

大変な時期で、仮に合格できなかったとしても心配しないでください。どこへ行ってもよい友達をつくり学校生活を楽しめることでしょう。

 

先週末私は韓国のテグ市へ弾丸旅行へ行きました！富士から東京から韓国へと長い道のりでした。テグ市は静岡のように買い物向けのまちです。どこへ行ってもデパート、市場、買い物客であふれていました！私は家族のためのお土産を買い、おいしい韓国風ステーキのディナーを食べることができました！

 

夜には韓国中にあるかっこいいバーチャルリアリティアーケードを試したいと思いました。オーストリアの道を５０キロ運転するレースゲームが面白かったです。モンスターを倒すゲームは燃えました。ただただモンスターを倒すために野菜と果物を切り続けるというなんともおかしなゲームでしたが・・・。
