Hello everyone,

How’s your week? We have the next set of Eiken tests coming up soon and lots of our students are working hard to pass their level and coming in for extra lessons and practice. Good luck everyone!

　いかがお過ごしですか。もうすぐ英検ですね。HARIOの生徒たちもたくさん受験します。それぞれの受験級の合格を目指して対策講座にも参加して勉強しています。みんな、がんばって

Also, you can see pictures from the camp up in the corridor in Hario now (as well as on the user area of the website). There are more than 250! It shows the variety of fun activities we crammed into less than 24 hours. I’m reminded of many happy memories looking at them. Thank you to the students and parents who have written the feedback forms. It’s great to hear positive feedback and it’s useful to know for future camps if there’s anything else we can do.

　それから、キャンプの写真が出来上がって、HARIOの廊下に掲示しています（ウェブサイトでも会員専用ページで見ることができます）。写真は250枚以上あります。24時間足らずのキャンプに詰め込んだいろいろな楽しいアクティビティの様子をご覧いただけます。写真を見ていると楽しいことがいっぱい思い出されます。アンケートにご回答くださったご父兄のみなさん、ありがとうございました。好評だったと聞いて嬉しく思います。また、これから先のキャンプに、このご意見を活かしてさらに何かできることがあるか考えていきたいと思います。

Last weekend was hot, wasn’t it! My wife and I took a little trip to see the Shiba-Sakura Festival near Lake Motosu just over the Yamanashi border. They have lots of colourful flowers planted so it gives the effect of a carpet of flowers of all different colours. With Mt. Fuji in the distance, it’s a lovely view, especially on a clear day like last weekend. It seems to be a very popular event. There were thousands of people there on Saturday and many foreign tourists. If you’ve never been, this year’s event finishes this weekend.

先週末は暑かったですね。妻と山梨県との境をちょっと越えたところにある本栖湖近くで行われた芝桜まつりに行ってきました。様々な色の花が植えられ、まるで花の絨毯のようでした。遠くに富士山が見え、加えて先週末は晴天だったので、素晴らしい景色でした。このおまつりはとても人気があるようです。土曜日は何千人もの人が訪れていて、外国人観光客も多かったです。まだ、行っていない方、今年のおまつりは今週末までです。
