Hello,

I hope you enjoyed the last two Mondays holidays, the first of which was old people`s day. I had a whole week off work, which was a great opportunity to relax. There was a typhoon last week. I remember when people told me there was a typhoon coming I was expecting a big event. I thought there would be hurricane like conditions for hours on end. In the end it was all over by the time I woke up in the morning, so I didn`t get to experience any sort of typhoon like event. I suppose that`s a good thing, but I was sort of expecting some panic station situations, which sounds exciting. Last Sunday we took a trip to the zoo in Shimizu. It`s a great zoo with a fantastic aviary dome where you can walk amongst the birds in their own gigantic cage. I`ve always enjoyed the zoo, I enjoy being around animals, and when I was a child I said I was going to be a zookeeper some day. After seeing all the work that they have to do there now I`m not so sure…

 

みなさん、こんにちは。

 

よい三連休をすごせましたか。

最初の三連休は、敬老の日でしたがHARIOイングリッシュスクールでは、その週は一週間の

秋休みでした。

でも台風がありましたね。私は台風がくるときいて、大きなイベントが起こるように期待していました。

ハリケーンのようなものがくるのではないかと思っていました。

でも、朝めざめたら台風は過ぎ去っていて、台風を体験することができませんでした。

でも何もなかったのはよいことですね。

 

先週の日曜日に、日本平動物園へいってきました。とてもすばらしい動物園でした。

ドームの中に、たくさんの鳥がいて、その中を歩くことができます。

私は動物園が好きです。動物に囲まれているのがとても心地よいのです。

子供のころ、将来は動物園の飼育係になりたいといっていたほどです。

でも、飼育係の仕事をみて、今は飼育係になりたいかどうかは・・・わかりませんが。
