Hey,  I hope that everyone had a great Obon vacation. 

During the vacation I spent a few days in Fukuoka. Whilst I was there I did many things which I had never done before, such as going to a Yatai, watching Baseball and trying Kyushu food. I went to Fukuoka for five days, I had planned to go for just four days but because of the Typhoon all the train services in the area were suspended, so I was forced to spend another day in Fukuoka. 

Whilst I was there I watched the Fukuoka Hawks play, this was my first time watching baseball. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the game was a lot more entertaining than I had imagined. I also went to a few shrines and temples in the area, such as Dazaifu. It was really busy at Dazaifu, many people were visiting the temple for either sightseeing or for religious reasons. I also visited Nanzo-in, which is famous for having a giant buddha lying on its side and is said to be the same size as the statue of liberty. 

All in all, I had a great time in Fukuoka and I made lots of good memories.

みなさん、こんにちは。お盆休みは楽しめましたか。私はお盆の間の数日は福岡へ行きました。福岡では初めての体験を沢山しました。

屋台で食事をしたり、野球観戦をしたり、九州の食べ物を試したり。福岡での滞在は４日の予定でしたが、台風で５日間いることになりました。交通機関がストップしてしまったからです。福岡ではもちろん、ソフトバンクの試合を観戦しました。人生で初めての野球観戦でした。とても雰囲気が気に入りました。思っていたよりもはるかに面白かったです。有名な大宰府にもいきました。釈迦涅槃像が横たわっている南蔵院という寺にも行きました。とてもいい思い出になる福岡旅行でした。
