Hello Everyone!

This past weekend we finally had the long-awaited Hario English camping trip! Teachers, helpers, 24 students and a special guest all had a fantastic time for 2 days in the wilderness.

The 24 students and staff were split up into 4 groups and played a variety of games to earn points and pride and learn English along the way! We had a scavenger hunt, a relay race, played tag, explored, cooked multiple meals, interviewed each other, played nighttime exploration bingo, had a campfire, sang songs, roasted marshmallows…so much fun!

The main event of the camping trip was the wide game where evil Koopa and Wario stole the key to Hario English school and we all had to work together to help Hario, Yoshi, Luigi and Grandpa Mario get it back! After a few close calls and strategy, the teams were able to get past Koopa and Wario, collect the map, find the key and defeat the enemies! A great job by everyone.

Those that went to Hario Camp in the past know how much fun it is so be sure to tell other students to sign up! It’s a great weekend and a good experience if you have never been camping. Who wouldn’t want to learn how to start a cooking or campfire or explore the wilderness for clues and sleep under the stars?!

みなさんこんにちは！

先週末は、待ちに待ったＨＡＲＩＯイングリッシュキャンプでした！２４名の参加生徒達、スタッフとサポーターの生徒達、そしてスペシャルゲストの全員が自然の中で二日間すばらしい時間を過ごすことができました。

24名の生徒達とスタッフは４つのグループに分けられ、ポイントとプライドをかけて色々なゲームをし、その中で英語を学びました！スカベンジャーハント、リレーレース、タグで遊び、探検し、いろいろな料理を作り、互いに英語でインタビューをし、ナイトラリービンゴをして遊び、キャンプファイアーをし、歌を歌い、マシュマロを焼き・・・たくさんの楽しい事がありました！

キャンプの目玉はお楽しみゲームでした。意地悪なクッパとワリオがHARIOイングリッシュスクールの鍵を盗み、私達全員がハリオ、ヨッシー、ルイージ、グランパマリオが鍵を取り返すのを手伝わなければなりませんでした。それぞれのチームはクッパとワリオをからキャラクターを守りながら地図を集め、鍵を見つけ、敵を倒すことができました！みなさんすばらしい活躍でした。
