Hello everyone!

It’s now the end of November and it’s time to start thinking about Christmas. Every year we put up decorations, buy presents and think of yummy Christmas foods to prepare for the season.

Around this time every year in my home city of Toronto, the famous Eaton’s Centre shopping mall puts up their giant Christmas tree for decoration. This year’s tree is over 33 metres tall! It is the tallest Christmas tree in Canada and reaches from the bottom to the top floor of the famous shopping mall. It’s is so large you can see it’s lights from the opposite side of the mall! Also happening now is the opening of the Toronto Christmas Market which is like a replica of an old German Christmas market. there are a lot of crafts, food, snacks and presents to buy. My favourite is the roasted turkey leg and mulled wine. yummy!

もう気づけば１１月も終わりです。クリスマスの時期が近づいてクリスマスの事を考え始めました。クリスマスのデコレーション、プレゼント、おいしいクリスマスの食事など。

この時期になると、私の故郷のカナダ、トロントでは、近くのショッピングオールに巨大なクリスマスツリーが飾られます。今年のツリーは、３３メートルだそうです。カナダでは一番高いクリスマスツリーで、一階から最上階の階まで届くそうです。そしてトロントではクリスマスマーケットが開かれています。沢山のクラフト、食べ物、スナック、プレゼントなどが売られていて、私のお気に入りはローストターキーレッグとマルドワインです。すごくおいしいです！
