Hey, 

So now that we are into the countdown to Christmas, Christmas movies have started showing on tv. I enjoy Christmas movies, when I was little I used to spend all weekend watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate. When I think of Christmas movies, I always think of the following three movies. 

The first movie is Home Alone. I think that every child has thought about some crazy plan on how they would stop someone from breaking into their house. Home Alone is a classic movie, it invoves a child and two robbers. To sumarise the movie is about an eight-year-old troublemaker who must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation.

The second movie is the Grinch. This movie is a popular Christas movie and is shown almost daily in the UK. The movie is about a small town called Whoville and a certain green character called Grinch. The town is obsessed with Christmas, however the revenge-seeking Grinch is not. He hates Christmas and finds the whole holiday stupid and as such he plans to ruin Christmas for all of the Citizens.

The final movie is The Santa Clause. This movie is another Christmas classic and is shown every Christmas. The movie is about a man who finds himself replacing Santa Claus, after he falls off the roof on Christmas Eve and then magically disappears, leaving only an 8-reindeer sleigh and a suit with instructions to put it on if he’s involved in an accident. Scott does, and is transported around the town dropping gifts through chimneys until he’s taken to the North Pole and informed by a group who claim they’re elves that he is now Santa.

みなさん、こんにちは。

クリスマスまでもう少し。テレビでもクリスマス映画がやっています。

小さい頃、私はクリスマス映画が好きで、週末はほとんどホットチョコレートを飲みながら映画をみてクリスマスを過ごしました。

クリスマス映画というと私はこの３つがすぐに浮かびます。

一つ目は、ホームアローンです。この映画をみて小さい子供達は、家に泥棒がはいったらどうやって困らせてやろうかなんて考えたものです。８歳のトラブルメーカーの男の子が、クリスマス休暇中に家に一人で残されてしまいます。その間に家にどろぼうが入り、主人公が家を守るためにどろぼうと戦うというストーリです。

次は、グリンチです。これもクリスマス映画としては有名です。これはグリンチという緑のキャラクターが主人公です。でも主人公はクリスマスが嫌いでクリスマスを嫌な日にしようと試みます。

最後の映画はサンタクロースという映画です。これもクリスマスには有名な映画です。クリスマスイブの日、サンタが屋根から落ちてしまい、スコットという男性がサンタの代行をすることになります。しかしサンタは消えてしまい、そこにはサンタの服とそりと８匹のトナカイ、プレゼントの配り方を書いたノートが残されていました。スコットはサンタの代わりに子供達にプレゼントを配ります。最後にはそりで北極に連れていかれ本物のサンタになるというお話です。
