I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the warmer weather!

This weekend, my family and I went to the Yoshiwara Goin Festival for the first time, and it was my son’s first festival in Japan. We missed last year’s festival, so we were really looking forward to going this year. We had a blast taking in the sights, watching the floats and taiko drumming, and trying all the delicious food from the stalls. We went on Saturday, and the warm weather, combined with the bustling crowds, made it feel quite hot as we moved through the throngs of people.

先週末に家族と一緒に初めて吉原五輪祭りに行きました。息子にとって日本での初めてのお祭りでした。昨年の祭りは見逃してしまったので、今年は本当に楽しみにしていました。山車や太鼓の演奏を見たり、屋台の美味しい食べ物を試したりして、充実した時間を過ごしました。土曜日に行ったのですが、暖かい天気と賑やかな人出で、人混みを抜ける時はかなり暑く感じました。

I couldn’t resist buying my son all sorts of festival toys and letting him play the various games. Of course, he had to get a mask, and he chose a Kamen Rider Gotchard mask. We all had a fantastic time, and since we live nearby, we could walk to the event without any hassle.

息子さんは、お祭りのおもちゃをたくさん買ってもらって、いろいろなゲームを楽しんでいまいた。。もちろん、彼はマスクを手に入れなければならず、仮面ライダーゴッチャードのマスクを選びました。お祭りでは、素晴らしい時間を過ごしましたし、近くに住んでいるので、イベントまで歩いて行くことができました
