I hope you’re all enjoying the cooler weather
We’ve been busy with classes and events at Hario lately, and I’m impressed with all of our students’ progress 
In December, I’ll go back to the US for a few weeks to see my family and attend my brother’s graduation ceremony
He’s earned his Ph D so now I’ll get to call him “Doctor Stewart” 
I’m proud of him and I’m looking forward to congratulating him on this important accomplishment.

Besides being excited for his ceremony, I’m also excited to see my family again.
I haven’t been back to the US for more than two years 
There’s plenty I’m excited about like eating food that I can’t find here and seeing friends, but I’ll also be meeting one nephew and one niece for the first time because they were born since I was last there

みなさんこんにちは、ジェラルドです。

 

だいぶ涼しくなりましたね、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。

私たちは授業やイベントで近頃は忙しくしています。そして生徒たちの成長には驚かされます。

１２月にわたしは数週間アメリカへ戻り、家族に会い、兄の卒業を祝いに行きます。

兄は博士号を取得しました。なので、これからは彼を「スチュワート博士」と呼ぶことになります。

兄を誇らしく思います。彼の素晴らしい業績を祝うのが楽しみです。

 

兄のお祝い以外にも、家族と再会するのがとても楽しみです。

もう２年以上アメリカにはずっと帰っていません。

日本では食べられない物や、友達と会うことなど楽しみがたくさんありますが、甥と姪にはじめて会うのも楽しみです。

彼らは私が最後にアメリカにいたときに生まれたので。

 

みなさんの冬の予定はどうですか？

冬に日本ですることや見るべき場所をいつでも気軽にお話してください。
