What an Amazing Day!

Hello everyone,

We had a fantastic time at the speech contest last week. I am always impressed by the quality of the speeches at every contest, and this year was no exception. There were so many amazing performances that it was hard to choose prize winners, especially in the Legends category. There was a big turnout, with many family members in the audience, parents, siblings and grandparents. I hope they all enjoyed the show, which began with our first-timer’s category, the new stars. They were very nervous, of course, but impressed everyone with their efforts. We had four categories this year, including the rising stars, stars and legends. It’s very nerve-wracking to get up on stage in front of so many people in Fuji’s biggest theater. However, our students’ hard work paid off, and they were able to give it their best. Well done to all of our students, and thanks to their families for all of your support! Now that the speech contest is over, we are already thinking about our next big event: The Christmas Party. I can’t believe I’m seeing Christmas stuff in shops already. It seems like only yesterday it was last Christmas and we were celebrating the festive season. Seeing Christmas decorations and goods in stores here makes me think of the countdown to xmas, even though it’s over a month and a half away!

皆さんこんにちは、

先週のスピーチコンテストでは素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。毎回のコンテストでのスピーチの質にいつも感心していますが、今年も例外ではありませんでした。特にレジェンドカテゴリーでは、受賞者を選ぶのが難しいほど素晴らしいパフォーマンスがたくさんありました。多くの家族、保護者、兄弟、祖父母が観客として集まり、大盛況でした。彼らがショーを楽しんでくれたことを願っています。

コンテストは初出場者のカテゴリー「ニュー・スターズ」から始まりました。もちろん緊張していましたが、その努力で皆を感動させました。今年は、ニュー・スターズ、ライジング・スターズ、スターズ、レジェンドの4つのカテゴリーがありました。富士市で最も大きな劇場（ロゼシアター）でこれだけ多くの人々の前に立つのはとても緊張することです。しかし、生徒たちの努力の成果が実り、全力を尽くすことができました。すべての生徒たちにお疲れ様を、そして家族の皆さんにはご支援に感謝します！

スピーチコンテストが終わった今、私たちはすでに次の大イベントであるクリスマスパーティーの準備を進めています。もうお店でクリスマスのアイテムを目にするなんて信じられません。まるで昨日が前回のクリスマスでお祝いしていたかのようです。店頭でクリスマスの飾りや商品を見ると、カウントダウンが始まった気がしますが、まだ1か月半以上も先ですね！💦
