Hello everyone,

Our students started back at school last week and now they are having their first full week of the new school grade. I`ve been asking them if they are happy with the new grouping of students in each classroom. They are often very excited to see who is in their class for the new school grade. I`ve also found out if they are happy with their new teachers. Are they strict, laid-back, or somewhere in between? Good luck to everyone back at school!

Here at Hario, we are busy preparing for our next big event. We are planning a big day out, which is going to be a trip to the zoo by train! Our students can join us as we take the train to Shizuoka city and visit Nihondaira zoo. When I was young, I wanted to be a zookeeper because I was really interested in animals. I wanted to take care of the big carnivores such as lions, tigers and bears. I`ll teach the students everything I know about animals on our trip. I`m no expert, but I always enjoy talking about animals at the zoo. It`s really interesting learning about where they are from, what they eat, and how dangerous they would be in the wild. Luckily, we can get up close to deadly animals in safety at the zoo. So, join us on our big day out! Check out our flyer for more information. See you then.

先週から学校が始まり、今週は新しい学年での最初の「フルの一週間」ですね。

生徒たちに、新しいクラスのメンバーについてどう感じているか聞いてみました。

毎年「誰と同じクラスになるのかな」とワクワクしている様子がとてもかわいいです。

新しい先生についても聞いてみました。厳しい先生なのか、優しい先生なのか、それともその中間なのか。

新学期を迎えたみなさんに、良いスタートを切れるよう願っています。

さて、HARIOでは次の大きなイベントに向けて準備が進んでいます。

今回は電車で行く動物園へのビッグデイアウトです。

生徒のみなさんと一緒に電車で静岡市まで行き、日本平動物園を訪れます。

実は私は子どもの頃、動物が大好きで「動物園の飼育員になりたい」と思っていました。

特にライオン、トラ、クマなどの大きな肉食動物に興味がありました。専門家ではありませんが、動物について話すのが大好きなので、当日は知っていることを全部みんなに教えます。動物がどこから来たのか、何を食べるのか、野生ではどれくらい危険なのかなど、学ぶことはたくさんあります。動物園では、危険な動物たちにも安全に近づけるのが魅力ですね。
