It’s Raining, it’s Pouring…

Hello everyone,

“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring”, as the old song goes. It’s been very rainy all week here! I think it’s been raining on and off every day since Sunday. I wonder when we will see the blue sky again? While it can get quite rainy here in months such as June and September, it feels like there is less rain in Japan than Ireland. I have heard weather reports from my parents that Ireland had a great deal of rain so far this year. The rain has brought us much cooler weather this week, so “every cloud has a silver lining.” This means that we can always find some small positive point when we hear bad news. So, even though we’ve had a rainy week, it was nice to experience some cooler weather for a change. As long as the rain doesn’t stick around for too long! If you are not a fan of rainy weather, just count yourself lucky that you don’t live in Mawsynram in India. It is the rainiest place in the world, and gets about 8 times as much rain as Japan every year!

This week at Hario, our Autumn Campaign is in full swing. We are welcoming potential new students to our school. We want as many students as possible to experience Hario, so tell everyone you know about us!

昔の歌に「雨が降る、どしゃ降り、老人はいびきをかいて眠ってる」とありますが、今週は本当に雨続きですね。

日曜日から毎日のように降ったり止んだりしている気がします。次に青空が見られるのはいつでしょうか。 6月や9月は雨が多い時期ですが、それでも日本はアイルランドより雨が少ないように感じます。私の両親からの天気の話では、アイルランドは今年かなりの雨量だったそうです。

とはいえ、雨のおかげで今週はとても涼しくなりました。まさに 「どんな雲にも銀の裏地がある」 という言葉の通りです。

これは、悪いニュースの中にも小さな良い点を見つけられるという意味です。雨の多い一週間でしたが、涼しい気候を楽しめたのは良い変化でしたね。もちろん、雨が長引きすぎなければの話ですが。もし雨が苦手なら、インドの マウシンラム に住んでいないだけ幸運だと思ってください。世界で最も雨が多い場所で、日本の年間雨量の約8倍も降るそうです。

今週のHARIOでは、秋のキャンペーンが本格的に始まりました。新しい生徒さんをお迎えしているところです。より多くの方にHARIOを知っていただきたいので、ぜひ周りの方にもご紹介ください
