It’s looking more and more like Autumn every day now. The leaves are changing colour and falling from the trees. It’s getting cooler too, fortunately. I went to Taganoura Park yesterday, and the strong wind kept me cool from the sun. The wind was so strong, however, that I had to hold onto my glasses when we went up the “dragon tower”. There is a great view of Fuji city and Izu from there.

Are you looking forward to silver week next week? There are two national holidays, starting with “keiro no hi” or “respect for the elderly day” on Monday 19th and the Autumnal Equinox on Friday 23rd. If you’re 100 now, the government will send you cool silver dish to celebrate. The equinox means it’s halfway between the longest and shortest days of the year. On this day there should be exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. If it’s halfway between summer and winter, why is it still so hot?! I haven’t decided what I’ll do yet during the break, but I think it’s the best time of the year to go out in higher areas where it is cool, such as Mount Fuji children’s world. I went there in obon week and it was scorching hot. I think silver week is a more suitable time. I’ll also play some football with my daughter. I think she is starting to enjoy playing, like I did when I was young. We had a kick-about yesterday, and today my legs are stiff! I must be getting old. I suppose my dream of playing professional football is over now. What are your plans for the silver week holiday?

みなさん、こんにちは

日に日に秋の風を肌で感じる季節になりましたね

 

葉はその色を変え、道路の色がだんだんと変わってくる時期ですね。

幸いな事に、気温も快適になってきました。

 

先日は田子の浦公園に行ってきましたが、心地よい風のおかげで快適に過ごすことができました。

風がとても強かったので、ドラゴンタワーで遊んだ時は眼鏡が飛ばないように抑えなければなりませんでした。。💦💦

景色は最高で、富士市と伊豆が一望できるほどでした(^^♪

 

シルバーウィークがもうすぐですが、皆さんは楽しみですか？

9/19の敬老の日から始まり、9/23 には秋分の日という二つの祝日がありますね！！

もし100歳なら政府からお祝いのお皿が贈呈されます。

 

また秋分とは、昼と夜の長さが等しくなる日のことです。ちょうど12時間分の昼間があって残りの12時間分の夜があり、きっかり分かれているんです。

 

もし夏と冬のちょうど折り返し地点だとしたら、どうしてまだ暑いのですかね？？

 

まだ休みのうちにどこに行くか決めていませんが、富士山やこどもの国のような高所に行くにはもってこいの季節だと思います。

お盆に行ってきましたが、焼け付くように暑かったです。。汗　シルバーウィークが最適なタイミングだと思いました。。

 

娘とはサッカーをして遊ぶ予定です、彼女は私が小さかった時のようにボールを蹴るのを楽しむようになりました。

一緒にボールを少し蹴って遊びましたが、足の筋肉が痛いです。ｗｗ

昔からの夢だったサッカー選手になるには年を取りすぎたのかもしれません。。
