Hello everyone!

 

I hope everyone that has been studying hard for their Aiken tests did well this past weekend! I know a lot of you were nervous but the harder you work, the more success you will have!

 

This week I wanted to talk about pets. I’ve always loved having animals around the house to pet and play with. When I was in elimentary school I had 2 hamsters named Hammy and Pudgy. They were teddy bear hamsters which means they were big, fluffy and very cute! For a few years we also had a dog and a rabbit. Even though our dog was a mix of German Sheppard and coyote, the rabbit was the boss of the house! Our rabbit was very big and would eat the dog’s food just to annoy her.

 

Our family has 2 cats which I love to see. They live with my wife’s parents but we see them often. I’d like to have a pet of my own in Japan too! But do I get a cat as well? A dog? Hamsters? Gerbils? Ferrets? Snakes? Fish? Beetles? Gorillas? I can’t decide!

みなさんこんにちは、マットです！

 

みなさん先週末の英検のために一生懸命勉強してきたでしょうか。皆さん緊張していましたが、勉強すればするほど合格に近づくでしょう！

 

今週はペットについてお話しようと思います。わたしはこれまでペットや遊び相手として家で動物を飼うのが大好きでした。小学生の時はハミーとペギーという名前のハムスターを二匹飼っていました。テディベアハムスターで、この種類は大きく、ふわふわでとても可愛いです！

数年間犬やウサギも飼っていました。犬はジャーマンシェパードとコヨーテのミックスだったのに、家のボスはウサギでした！そのウサギはとても大きくて犬の餌を食べては怒らせていました。

 

わたしの家族はわたしの大好きな猫を二匹飼っています。妻の両親が飼っていますがよく見に行きます。日本で私も自分のペットを飼いたいものです！しかし私もねこを飼おうか？犬を飼おうか？ハムスター？ネズミ？フェレット？蛇？魚？カブトムシ？ゴリラ？決められません！
