Hello everyone,

How are you doing? The Eiken tests took place last weekend. Well done for all your hard work to our students. Congratulations to those who passed. For those who didn’t this time, you’ve set a benchmark for next time. Keep trying hard and you’ll get there. For students taking the 3rd grade and above, you now need to get ready for the interview tests. Practice hard and I know you can do it.

Last weekend, my wife and I took a trip to Shizuoka City and to the art museum there to see the Rodin exhibition. The museum’s on a university campus and the autumn colors were starting to show so it looked really nice and we had a picnic there afterward. The museum was great and I learnt a lot about Rodin. His world famous, ‘The Thinker’, statue was on display and it was great to see the real thing up close. It’s amazing to see such an iconic piece of art and it’s so near to where I live. If you like art, I really recommend this museum. It’s well worth a visit.

みなさん、こんにちは。いかがお過ごしですか。

先週の土曜日は英検でした。受験した皆さん、よく頑張りましたね。

またまだ正式ではありませんが、自己採点で合格しているだろう皆さん、おめでとうございます。残念ながら、合格点に届かなかった皆さん、次回への目標設定ができましたね。その目標に向かって、また頑張っていきましょう。３級以上の合格者の皆さんは、二次試験（面接）がありますね。皆さんなら合格できますよ。頑張って。

先週末は、私は妻と一緒に静岡市に行き、県立美術館で行われているロダン展を見てきました。美術館は大学の敷地内にあり、すでに紅葉が始まっていてとてもきれいで、私達はそこでピクニックをしました。美術展は非常にすばしく、ロダンについてたくさんの事を学べました。彼の作品で有名な「考える人」の像がありました。本物を近くでみれ感動しました。もし美術、アートに興味があるのでしたら、この美術館をお勧めします。行く価値ありです。
