New Materials 新教材

Hello everyone,

How are you today? We’re in a heatwave at the moment. Please remember to drink plenty of fluid and look after yourself. Yesterday was American Independence Day. Happy 4th of July to my brother (who is a naturalized American) and his family and any American readers. Good luck to everyone taking Eiken interview tests this weekend. Also, thank you to all the parents who have taken the time to come to parents’ day classes. Our teaching system requires parental follow up and support at home so we appreciate the ongoing cooperation.

I went back to the UK in Golden Week. I was mainly there to see family and friends but while I was there, I found some good educational materials that I’ve been using in class. Also, I made a new set of verb cards for PLS classes for verbs that aren’t in the PLS system but are in the early ranks of the Eiken test. I’ve been using all of these new materials for the past few weeks and I’ve been enjoying seeing positive reactions from the students and finding out the best ways to teach these materials.

お元気ですか？最近は暑さが増していますね。水分補給を忘れずに体調管理にはお気を付け下さい昨日はアメリカの独立記念日でした。アメリカ国民に帰化した私の弟、その家族、そしてアメリカの読者の方、独立記念日おめでとう今週は英検2次試験がありますが、受験をされる皆さん、頑張ってくださいそして現在HARIOで行われている授業参観にご参加頂きました保護者の皆様、貴重なお時間を頂きましてありがとうございます。私どものカリキュラムはご家庭でのサポートも必要であり、皆様のご協力に感謝しております。

私はGWにイギリスに帰省し、家族や友人と過ごしておりましたが向こうにいる間、今クラスで使っている上の写真にあるとてもいい教材を見つけましたまた、若いPLSクラスで使う動詞カードを新たに作りました。これらはPLSの動詞カードには無く、しかし英検に出てくるような単語です。ここ最近、これらの教材を使っておりますが、生徒たちからの楽しそうな反応を見る事が出来、楽しく教えていますそしてさらに良い使い方をかんがえてるところです
