Parents’ Day Classes 授業参観

Hello everyone,

How are you doing? Just a reminder, Friday Hario will be closed and there won’t be any lessons. I’ll see Friday students next week. The Eiken interview tests are coming up and lots of students are coming in for extra practice. Good luck! Just try to relax and remember to show a positive attitude and answer as best you can. The interviewers aren’t looking for perfect English, but effective communication.

みなさん、こんにちは。

いかがお過ごしですか。今週の金曜日はHARIOは休校となっております。金曜日の生徒の皆さん、お忘れないように。来週の授業でお待ちしております。

英検の二次試験が今週と来週で行われます。HARIO生の多くがチャレンジするため、先週から二次試験対策が行われています。

受験する皆さん、がんばってね。おちついて、ポジティブな態度で、できるだけ答えをいいましょう。決してパーフェクトな英語でなくても英語でコミュニケーションをとる姿勢を見せましょう。

Parents’ day classes are beginning this week. It’s a chance for parents to see what their children are studying in class, how we teach classes and how the PLS system works, the progress they’ve made and their attitude and the atmosphere of the class. We hope and expect parents to be happy with what they see, but if there are any questions or concerns, it’s a chance to raise them and we’ll do our best to deal with those. I’ve been doing parents’ day classes for a few years now and it always changes the atmosphere of the class. Some students act as normal but it can make students nervous (and maybe teachers too), however much you prepare. Anyway, I look forward to welcoming all the parents into my class.

今週からHARIOでは授業参観が始まりました。

クラスでのお子様の様子をみていただけるチャンスでもあり、PLSシステムがどのように彼らに効果をあたえているか、上達しているのか、クラスでの姿勢、態度、雰囲気んあどなどもご覧いただけるチャンスです。授業参観後、皆さんが満足していただけると嬉しいです。参観されてご質問やご心配事、その他ございましたら何でもお聞かせください。私はHARIOにきて何回も授業参観を経験していますが、つねに参観日ではクラスの雰囲気が変わってしまうものです。授業参観でも変わらない！という生徒もいますが、中には授業参観で緊張していつもの力が発揮できない生徒もいます。（講師も同じですね）
