Hello everyone,

How are you doing? It’s a lovely day today and it feels like spring is almost here. Hario’s spring campaign is in its second month. Prospective students can try 4 free trial lessons and and take advantage of a half-price joining fee. The campaign finishes on March 24th so please contact Hario soon if you’re interested. Many students signed up this week and we’re delighted to have them as part of Hario.

Earlier this week, we got the results back from the Eiken interview tests. A full list of successful students can be seen in an earlier blog but congratulations to the very many people who passed. Only a few didn’t manage this time but you get another chance with the Eiken interview so you can use this as motivation to pass next time. It’s a great start to the year so really well done.

Another piece of news is that this year’s English camp has been confirmed. It’s being held at Asagiri Outdoor Activity Centre on the weekend of May 13th and 14th. It’s open to Hario students in the 3rd grade of elementary school and above. The tentative price is the same as last year, 7000 yen, and we can offer transportation to those students who need it (for a small fee). We used this centre two years ago – it’s in a beautiful forest and you have you’re own private campsite with it’s own cooking facilities and fireplace. The staff and facilities there were great and it was super fun to sleep in tents. You don’t even have to make the tents; they’re ready and assembled when you arrive! We’ve already got some ideas in the works and favourite activities from previous camps will be returning. We will give further details and start taking applications soon but please have it in mind. It’s one of our big events of the year and great fun and a way to use English outside the classroom.

お元気ですか本日はとても良い天気で春ももすぐそこといった感じですね。HARIOイングリッシュスクールの春のキャンペーンは2か月目に入りました。体験希望の生徒さんは最大で4回の無料体験レッスンを受講でき、入会金も半額という特典もあります。キャンペーンは3月24日までとなりますので、ご興味のある方がいらっしゃれば、お早目にお問い合わせください。今週ご入会を決定された方々が沢山いらっしゃり、とても嬉しく感じています

今週の初めには英検2次試験の結果が発表となりました。多くの生徒さんが合格されました。本当におめでとうございます中には思うような結果がでなかった生徒さんもいらっしゃるかと思いますが、また次回受験できるので、この悔しさを次の面接にぶつけてほしいと思います今年最初の英検でしたが、皆さんとてもよく頑張ったと思います。

もう1つのニュースといえば、今年のイングリッシュキャンプの詳細が決まりつつあります予定では5月13日、14日に朝霧野外活動センターにて行う予定です。HARIOの生徒さん小学3年生以上を対象とさせて頂きます。参加費に関しては、現段階では去年と同じ7000円と考えており、ご希望の生徒さんがいらっしゃればキャンプ場までの送迎も承る予定です。（送迎費別途）2年前に朝霧野外活動センターを利用させて頂きました。美しい森の中にあり、料理場の併設されたキャンプサイトに泊まることができます。センターの方々も親切丁寧で、施設も素晴らしく、何よりテントで寝るのがとても楽しいですテントといっても到着した時には既に建っているので心配いりません新しいアクティビティやこれまでのキャンプで行ってきた人気のアクティビティなども復活する予定です。参加受付はもうすぐ始まりますので、皆さんのご参加お待ちしています。イングリッシュキャンプは1年の中でも大きなイベントの1つであり、楽しく、教室の外で英語を使えます
