Hello everyone,

It’s March at last! Spring is in the air. There’s a lot to look forward to this season, and it’s not just the warmer weather. Saint Patrick’s Day, Hanami, and Easter are all on the way. The celebrations start with Saint Patrick’s Day on March 17th. This is Ireland’s national Holiday. Make sure you wear something green to celebrate everything Irish. Hanami is due to start in Shizuoka by the end of March. Are you going to have a picnic under the cherry blossom trees? After that we have Easter in April, when everybody eats chocolate eggs. My parents send me a box of eggs from Ireland every year. Chocolate from Ireland tastes better than here in Japan. I suggest you try Cadbury’s Easter eggs if you can find any. They’re delicious! It’s nice to have these days to look forward to now that winter is over.

You may have heard that Yuka had her last day working with us yesterday. It was sad to say goodbye and we wish her all the best for the future. We had dinner on Saturday for her leaving party and had fun reminiscing about the good times working together. I’ve really enjoyed working with her for these past three years. There are so many great memories, we will all miss you Yuka. You were a fantastic colleague. Good luck!

ついに3月になりました。春の気配がしていますね。暖かい気候だけではなく、楽しみなことがいろいろある季節でもあります。セントパトリックスデー、花見、イースターなどが待っています。まず最初は3月17日のセントパトリックスデーから始まりまります。これはアイルランドの伝統的なお祭りですこの日には必ず何か緑の物を身に着けるので、皆さんもよかったら身につけて来て下さい。花見は静岡だと3月末ころでしょうか。桜の木の下でピクニック、皆さんは予定されていますかその後4月に入ると卵の形をしたチョコレートを食べるイースターがあります。毎年、母からたくさんのチョコレートエッグが送られてきます。アイルランドのチョコの味は日本のものより美味しいです。もし日本で探すことができるのであれば、キャドバリーのチョコエッグをお薦めします。とってもおいしですから是非探してみて下さい

皆さんご存知かもしれませんが、昨日がスタッフのYukaのHARIOでの最後の出勤日でした。さよならを言うのは悲しかったですが、スタッフ一同、今後の幸運を祈っています。土曜日にはお別れパーティーを行い、いろいろな思い出話をしました。この3年、彼女と仕事ができてとても楽しかったです。とても沢山の思い出があり、皆寂しく思っています。とても素晴らしいスタッフでした。ありがとう、Yuka頑張ってね
