How’s your week going? On Tuesday, it was Valentine’s Day. Thank you to the students who brought chocolates. It was very kind of you (and the parents who helped too). I’ll remember to make something on White Day. My mother sends me a Valentine’s Day card from the pet cat every year and I got another one this year. It’s a nice tradition but I think it’s not widespread, just in my family. Valentine’s Day is important to me because it’s the day I met my wife for the first time. We exchanged presents and cards and will do something nice to celebrate this weekend. Did you send chocolates or receive chocolates? Was it as just friends or a declaration of love? ( English tip – If you don’t want to answer a private question, for example about your love life, you can say, “That’s a private matter.”)

今週はいかがお過ごしですか火曜日はバレンタインデーでしたね。チョコを持ってきてくれた生徒さん達、ありがとうございました皆さん優しいですね（お手伝いをしてくれた親御様にも感謝します。）ホワイトデーには必ずお返しを作ります毎年バレンタインには家で飼っている猫から（本当は母から）バレンタインカードが届きます。今年も届きました。嬉しいのですが、私の家族しかわかりませんよね。私にとってバレンタインデーは大切な日であります。奥さんと初めて会った日だからですそれぞれプレゼントとカードを交換し、週末には何かお祝いをしようと考えています。皆さんはチョコを貰ったり、送ったりしましたか？友チョコですか？それとも本命ですか？（英語ではプライベートの質問に答えたくない場合は”That’s a private matter”(プライベートの事なので教えたくないです。）と言います。
