Hello everyone,

How are you all doing? Regular classes finish next Thursday (though there are winter grammar classes after that) so this is my last blog post for the year.

2016 has gone quickly. It has been a surprising year in the world. So many famous people died this year -Muhammed Ali, David Bowie, Prince, Fidel Castro and more – and many surprising things happened in the news – Brexit, President Trump and so on. It was a busy year for us at Hario. New students came, some old students moved on and we had our big events of the year; the English camp and the speech contest. I really enjoyed this year and I hope our students did too. Now they are a year older and wiser, and better at English!

Before we finish the year, we have our last big event of the year, the Christmas party. Nearly 60 students are coming on Sunday and it will a lot of fun. I’ve been testing my games in a couple of classes and I’m really looking forward to it. Santa is coming and is busy making presents for all the kids. The craft activity this year looks really cool, too.

I’m going to spend the Christmas Holidays in Nagano with my Japanese family this year. We’ll have a Christmas party and it’ll be nice to spend time and relax. Omachi, in Nagano, always has a white Christmas and looks beautiful all covered in snow. I hope you all do something nice to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

みなさんこんにちは。

お元気ですか通常授業は来週の木曜日に終わりになります。（冬期講習にお申し込みの方はまだ講習がありますが）。なので今日のブログが私の年内最後のブログになります。

2016年は本当に早かったです。そして世界に目を向けると、驚きの多い年となりました。今年の多くの有名人の方々がお亡くなりになりました。モハメド・アリさん、デイビッド・ボウイさん、プリンスさん、フィデル・カストロさん、などなど。ニュースの世界でも驚きが沢山あったと思います。Brexit(イギリスの欧州連合脱退問題）、トランプ次期米大統領などなどHARIOにとってもいろいろな事がありました新しい生徒さんとの出会い、長年通ってくれた生徒さんとの別れ、ビッグイベントであるHARIOイングリッシュキャンプとスピーチコンテスト。私はこの1年を楽しむことができたと思いますし、生徒の皆さんもその様に考えてくれていれば嬉しく思います皆さんもまた1学年成長をされ、英語も上達したと思います

今年を締めくくる前に、最後のイベントが控えています。そうクリスマスパーティーです。約60名の生徒さんにお申し込み頂きましたクリスマスパーティー、さぞかし楽しい会になるでしょういくつかのクラスで、パーティーで行うゲームを実際に行ってみました。私はそのゲームをとても楽しみにしています。サンタさんにも来てもらいます。今現在、プレゼント作りに忙しくしているようです。今年のクラフトもいいものができそうな予感がします

お休みに入ったら、私は日本の義理の家族と長野で過ごす予定になっています。そこでもクリスマスパーティーを行う予定で、リラックスした時間が過ごせると思います。長野の大町はこの時期雪が降るのでホワイトクリスマスを楽しむことができ、雪で覆われた町はとても綺麗です皆さんもクリスマスや新年をお祝いし、良い時間が過ごせるといいですね
