Christmas is coming クリスマスがやってくる！

Hello everyone,

Santa is here! Well, actually it’s a big inflatable Santa, not the real thing. Come on over to Hario and take a look. Our Santa is huge, and over two meters tall! I hope he doesn’t scare our students. If they want to meet the real Santa, they should come to our Christmas Party next Sunday. It’s going to be a fantastic day, with games, songs, prizes, crafts and more. If you have been a good student this year Santa might give you a present. He knows who has been well behaved and who has been naughty! We are busy preparing the games this week. I hope the kids enjoy themselves.

It’s only a week and a half until Christmas Day! I remember when I was young I couldn’t sleep on Christmas Eve. Every year I was too excited about Christmas Day so I would stay awake all night waiting for the morning to come. My brothers and I would wake our parents at 6am and we would all go downstairs to find presents that Santa left in our stockings and under the tree. Christmas dinner is special too. The classic dinner is roast turkey, ham, brussel sprouts, carrots, baked potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy. For dessert we have Christmas pudding or cake. I would usually skip the pudding and have chocolate bars from my selection box. Every year I get a selection box from my parents. It’s a box full of chocolate bars and I usually finish it pretty quickly! Even now I get one every year in a Christmas gift box from Ireland. Now that I’m a father I will try to make Christmas a special time for my daughter, like it was for me. Merry Christmas everyone!

HARIOにサンタがやって来ましたといっても本物ではなく風船サンタですが2メーターを超えるサンタですのでぜひチェックしてみてください。大きいので怖がらないでくださいね。本物のサンタクロースに会いたい人は、日曜日に行われるクリスマスパーティーに来て下さい。当日はゲーム、歌、景品、工作などで楽しみ、素晴らしい日になると思いますもし今年1年、良い子にしていたのであれば、サンタさんからプレゼントをもらえるかもしれませんね。サンタさんは誰が良い子で誰がいたずらっ子だったかすべて知っていますから今はゲームやその他の準備で忙しくしていますが、当日ご参加頂く皆さんが楽しんでくれると嬉しく思います

今年もクリスマスまで1週間と半分になりました。私は子供の頃、イブに全然寝れなかった事を今でも覚えています。25日がとても楽しみで、毎年毎年、イブの日からずっと朝まで起きていました。私には兄弟がいますが、彼らと朝6時に両親を起こし、皆で1階にあるツリーの下や靴下の中にサンタさんが置いていってくれたプレゼントを見つけに行きましたクリスマスの食事も特別で、昔ながらのクリスマスの料理である、七面鳥、ハム、芽キャベツ、にんじん、じゃがいも、クランベリーソースにグレイビー、デザートにはクリスマスプディングやケーキを用意します。私はクリスマスプディングの代わりにお菓子のお楽しみ箱のチョコレートバーというお菓子を食べていましたけどね毎年、両親からこのお菓子のお楽しみ箱をもらっていて、すぐに食べきってしまっていました。今は私は父親なので、私が子供の頃、クリスマスが特別だったように、娘のためにクリスマスを特別な物にしてあげたいと思います皆さん、少し早いですがメリークリスマス
