How are you doing? It will soon be Christmas. I got an advent calendar this year. An advent calendar is a calendar that counts down the days to Christmas. Everyday you open a door and can get a chocolate. I used to have one every year growing up and it’s nice and nostalgic.

 Last Sunday I took part in a training day for trainers at Pacific Language School. It was a great day and I came away with lots of useful feedback and ideas. It was a nice chance to meet other sister school staff as well as Ray Ormanday and the PLS staff. The only difficult thing was that it was a training course for trainers so that meant the PLS trainers were training us how to train new teachers how to train their students. It became confusing at times! It reminded me of this photo I saw on social media a while ago.

The Christmas party is next weekend! The final number of students is 57, so it should be lots of fun and excitement. We had a meeting with Santa Claus this week. His beard was long and  white. He’s excited and bringing a musical instrument! The Hario staff are busy preparing activities for the party. It will be lots of fun. Yui wrote about the songs in her blog yesterday. There’s a new game this year which I’m excited about that uses a popular song!

みなさんこんにちは。

お元気ですかもうすぐクリスマスですね。今年はアドベントカレンダーを手に入れました。アドベントカレンダーとはクリスマスまでのカウントダウンをするカレンダーです（↑の写真）。毎日カレンダーのドアを開けると、チョコレートをゲットできます子供の頃はよくやっていましたが、とても懐かしく思います

先週の日曜にはPLSの研修に参加してきました。とても実りのある1日となり、沢山の素晴らしいアイディアやフィードバックとともに帰ってきました。また多くのPLS姉妹校のスタッフの方々、PLSの先生方、創始者レイ・オーマンディー氏に会う事ができるいい機会でした。唯一の難点と言えば、今回の研修はトレーナーの為の研修だったので、PLSのトレーナーの先生が、生徒達をどうやって教えようか勉強する新人先生をどうやって教えるか私達をトレーニングするもので、時折どっちがどっちだか解らなくなり、混乱し、少し前にインターネットで見た上の写真を思い出しました

クリスマスパーティーは来週末になります。57名もの生徒さんから参加申し込みを頂きました。なのでとても楽しい会になることでしょう。今週はサンタクロースとのミーティングもありました。髭が長く白いのがとても印象的でした。今年もサンタさんが楽器を演奏してくれるようで、彼自身もすごく楽しみにしていると言っていましたよHARIOのスタッフも準備に忙しくしています。Yui先生が昨日のブログにて歌のことを書いていましたね。今年は大流行したあの歌を使ったゲームをやる予定で、今からとても楽しみです
