Hello everyone,

We’re having spring showers at the moment. Once the rain subsides we have nice warm weather to look forward to.

If you’re a man, it’s time to prepare for White Day. On the 14th you have to remember who gave you sweets on Valentine’s Day and repay the favour. We also have Vernal Equinox Day on the 21st. Don’t worry though, Hario will be open for business! Equinox is a term for when we are between winter and summer, and there are around 12 hours of day and night equally. I have noticed that the evenings are getting brighter. It’s great to watch the seasons change at this time of year.

Next week also has a famous Irish holiday. If you’ve been to Hario this month you might have noticed. There’s green shamrocks, leprechauns and Irish flags everywhere! That means Saint Patrick’s Day is coming on March 17th. Make sure to wear something green to Hario that day. We celebrate Ireland all over the World on St. Patricks Day. Every major city has a street parade, even Tokyo! It’s just in time for the Japanese tradition of Hanami, where people go out and have a picnic under the cherry blossom trees. So there are lots of fun times to look forward to this month. Enjoy!

本日は雨が降っていますね。この雨が止めば待ちに待った暖かい気候がやってくることでしょう。

男性の皆さん、ホワイトデーに向けお返しの準備はできましたか14日、誰からお菓子をもらったか思い出し、そのご好意にお返しをしましょう

20日は春分の日、21日は振替休日ですね。でもご心配なさらずに！HARIOは授業がありますよ
“Equinox”(春分の意)は冬と夏の間の時期に使われる用語です。そしてその日は昼と夜が等しく12時間ずつあります。最近は徐々に夕方も明るくなってきましたね。この時期に季節の変化を感じるのは最高ですね

さらに来週はアイルランドの有名な祝日があります。HARIOの生徒さんは既にご存知かもしれませんが、待合室の至るところにシャムロック、レプリコーン、アイルランドの国旗が飾られています。そうです、セントパトリックスデーが3月17日にありますねその日は是非、何か緑の物を身につけてHARIOに来てくださいね。その日は全世界でアイルランドのお祝いをします。世界の主要都市ではパレードが行われ、東京でも行われます。日本の伝統である花見の時期もその頃からですので、3月は楽しみな事が沢山ですね楽しんでください。
