Hello everyone,

 

Last Sunday was Easter. Did you see any chocolate eggs? We had some Easter egg decorations here at Hario last week. They`re not popular in Japan yet, but I`m sure some confectionery companies are thinking about bringing it here. Perhaps White day is too close to be giving more chocolate to friends and family. I received a big box of chocolate eggs in the mail today. Thanks Mum! She always gives me Easter eggs, even when I`m 10,000 kilometers away.

Kevin is headed to Northern Ireland today. He is attending his brother`s wedding in Derry. It`s rare, but Ireland is warmer than Fuji today! Enjoy the nice weather there Kevin.

Last weekend was a bit of a washout here in Fuji, which is a pity considering the sakura trees were at full bloom. I went to the park in spite of the drizzle and it was worth it to see the pink blossoms everywhere. Unfortunately it was too wet to have a hanami picnic.

In April I have lots of birthdays to celebrate. We have two birthdays here at Hario this week. I will turn 34 next Tuesday and Sachiyo`s birthday is Saturday. Many of my friends and family have birthdays in April, I have no idea why!

みなさんこんにちは。

先週の日曜日はイースターの日でしたね。チョコレートエッグはみつけましたか？HARIOでも先週はイースターの飾りつけをしていましたまだまだ日本では馴染みのないイースターですが、今後、製菓会社が大きく扱うのではないかと思っています。おそらく家族や友人にチョコレートを贈るという所でホワイトデーが一番近いのではないかと思います。

本日、アイルランドから大きなチョコレートエッグのボックスが郵便で届きました。イースターの日には、10000キロ離れていようといつもイースターエッグを送ってくれますお母さん、ありがとう

 

さて本日、ケビンが北アイルランドへ向けて出発しましたそこにある町、デリーで行われるご兄弟の結婚式に出席するためです。珍しいですが、今日は富士市よりアイルランドの方が暖かいみたいです。ケビン、いい天気に恵まれるといいね

先週末、富士は天候があまりよくありませんでした。満開だった桜のことを考えると、少し残念です。しかし小雨にも関わらず私は公園に行き、桜を見てきました残念ながら天候が悪いため、お花見を楽しむ事はできませんでしたが

4月に入り、周りに沢山の誕生日の人達がいます。HARIO では2人の誕生日があります。私が来週の火曜日に34歳になり、さちよの誕生日は今週の土曜です私の友人や家族には4月に誕生日のある人達が沢山います。どうしてなんでしょうか
