Hello everyone,

 

It feels a little warmer this week, I hope the trend continues and spring gets here as soon as possible. Until then I`m hiding under the kotatsu when I`m at home.

This week we welcome a new member to the Hario English School team. Yui started here this Monday and I`d like to wish her all the best for her career with us. Welcome to Hario Yui!

I heard there is an international festival next month in Fuji City. I attended last year`s event at Fuji Messe and I would really recommend it. There were stands inside representing different countries and it`s great to meet people now living in Japan and learn about their home countries. There were also food stalls serving different dishes from around the world. It`s fantastic to try some of the favorite snacks from all corners of the world. Fuji city is no stranger to international food. Last weekend I was in a traditional American hamburger restaurant. And they served some really big burgers, taller than they are wide! There are also Italian, Indian, Chinese, Korean and French restaurants around the city. It`s great to have such variety to choose from. I`ve tried many different international restaurants here, but my favorite restaurants are still the Japanese izakayas. You can`t beat some good yaki niku! I also love steak, and have tried it all over the world. Japan has the best steak I`ve ever eaten. It pains me to say it`s even better than Irish steak!

 

 

みなさん、こんにちは。

今週は、少し暖かく感じます。このまま暖かいといいですね。春が早くきてほしいですね。

この寒さなので、私は家にいるときはこたつの中に隠れています。

 

今週は、HARIOイングリッシュスクール に新しい仲間が加わりました。

研修生の名前は「ゆい」で月曜日から来ています。

HARIO で力を発揮してがんばってくださいね。ゆい、HARIOイングリッシュスクール へようこそ。

 

来月に、「国際交流フェア」が富士市で開かれるそうです。

去年、富士山メッセで開かれたこのイベントに私は初めて参加しました。

とってもよかったので皆さんにお勧めします。

各国のブースが出され、日本にいる色んな国の外国人と知り合えますし、彼らの国についても学ぶことができます。もちろん、各国の自慢の料理も出されます。

そして、世界の国々のお菓子も楽しめてしまいます。なんてすばらしい！

富士市は、国際的な食事が味わえる場所です。

先週は、あるアメリカンのハンバーグレストランに行きました。とっても大きな高さがあるハンバーガーがでてきました。

他にもイタリアン、インディアン、チャイニーズ、フレンチレストランなどが富士市にはあります。

バラエティーがあるのはいいことですね。私は、少しずつそれらのレストランには飽きてきましたが、

まだ、日本の居酒屋には飽きがきていません。焼肉もいいですね。

私はステーキーがすきです。世界中のいろんなステーキを食べてきましたが、

日本のステーキが一番好きです。言いにくいですが、母国のアイルランドのステーキよりもずっと美味しいです。
