Hello everyone,
How is your week so far? The hot weather is continuing so please be careful. The Eiken test interviews were last weekend. We’ll find out the results in a couple of weeks so good luck. Summer grammar classes have started too. Lots of students came on Saturday and worked hard. Thank you to all the parents who have come to parents day. It’s nice to get good feedback and to be able to show the students doing well in class.

熱い日が続いております。熱中症などにお気を付けください。

先週末は英検の二次試験が行われました。結果は、２週間後とのことです。いい結果であることを祈ります。文法の夏期講習も先週末からスタートしました。たくさんの生徒さんが土曜日にきて頑張っていたと聞いています。

また平日の授業では授業参観が３週目を迎えました。参加していただいた保護者の皆様、ありがとございます。またアンケートで保護者の皆様からの感想をきけ、またクラスの様子を皆様にお見せすることができるよい機会です。

Last weekend I went to Izu Velodrome to watch track cycling. It will be the venue for Olympic track cycling in the Tokyo 2020 games. I saw lots of events like the keirin and madison really close up trackside. There were elite Japanese and International athletes including world and Olympic champions and medalists. They are really impressive. They ride so fast and close to each other. One man crashed and had to be stretchered away which illustrated the fine margins the athletes compete in. Track cycling is popular in the UK and one of our most successful sports at the Olympics. I hope I can see the events at the Olympics in 2020.

先週末は、伊豆の競輪場へ競輪競技をみに行きました。そこは、２０２ｓ０年の東京オリンピックの競輪の会場になります。

競輪やマディソンなどたくさんの競技を近くでみることができました。日本の有名な選手や世界で活躍する外交選手、メダリストもいました。さすが一流だけあって、スピードが速く、選手同士の距離が近くてとても迫力がありました。競輪はイギリスでは、とても人気があります。オリンピックでイギリスが活躍する種目の一つです。２０２０の競輪を生でみれたらいいなと思います。
