Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope you had a good 2022, and that 2023 turns out even better! Did you have a nice winter holiday? I think people are less hesitant to travel these days. At the beginning of the pandemic, many people stayed home on the holidays. Now, however, people have taken trips around the country more. I went to Nagoya and stayed for one night in December. I had never been before, except in passing through. It’s a surprisingly large city, one of the biggest in Japan, with lots to see and do. We decided to go to Nagoya aquarium and the science museum. The aquarium is great for a day out, and its main attraction is the dolphin show. They also have belugas and a killer whale, which I had never seen before. The science museum is a nice place for kids to have fun with many interactive attractions. It was fun for me too, science was one of my favorite subjects at school. There is a huge planetarium in the dome there, where we watched a show about the stars and space. They have very comfortable reclining chairs in there. So comfortable, in fact, that both my wife and I fell asleep during the show! It’s dark and relaxing watching the stars above, so it’s worth watching the show, even if you drift off to sleep for a while.

What did you do on New Year’s Eve? My family’s tradition is watching Kohaku on TV at home. We also had a little karaoke at home with my wife’s cousins. They persuaded me to sing a song by Queen. I’m no good at singing, but I did my best! On New Year’s Day, we went to Tokyo to pray for a good year in Asakusa Temple. While I was in Tokyo, I took the opportunity to look for a Playstation 5, which has been sold out everywhere since it was launched two years ago. I was lucky enough to find a store that had them so I was delighted to buy one. So I had a fantastic vacation!

Now we’re back to work here at Hario, and we can look forward to the Spring Campaign coming soon. I’m looking forward to a wonderful new year!

みなさん明けましておめでとうございます

2022年はみなさんにとっていい年であったことと思います！そして23年はもっといい年になることを祈っています

 

みなさんは充実した冬休みを過ごせましたか？？

 

最近になり、旅行を避ける人が少しずつ減ってきたように思えます。

未知のウィルスが流行し始めたころは、休暇中は自宅で過ごす事が多かったですよね、、

それに比べたら、国内旅行をする人が増えてきましたね

 

私も12月に名古屋で一泊してきました

どこか他の場所に行く途中に通過する以外には立ち寄ったことがなかったのですが、

行ってみると、とても沢山の見るべき場所や物がある大きな街でした

 

名古屋では、名古屋港水族館と科学技術館に行ってきました！

水族館のメインの催し物はもちろんイルカショーでした！！一日中楽しむにはもってこいの場所ですね

そしてそこには、他にも私が今まで一度も見たことのなかったベルーガやシャチがいました。

 

そして科学技術館は子供が色々なものを触って考えながら楽しめる場所でした。

学生時代に科学が一番好きだったので、私にとっても楽しめるいい場所となりました

 

さらにそこにはプラネタリウムもあって、科学と宇宙について学びを深めることができました

とっても心地よいリクライニングチェアがあったので私も妻も途中で寝てしまいましたｗｗ

 

皆さんは大晦日には何をしましたか？

私の家族はみんなで紅白歌合戦を毎年見ています。

そして、妻のいとこたちと自宅でカラオケをいて楽しみました♪♪

 

あまり歌は得意ではないのですが、みんなが私を説得して結局クイーンを歌うはめになってしまいました。

それでもベストを尽くしましたが！

 

そして元旦には東京の浅草に新年のお願いをしに行ってきました

 

なんと！！！

長年探し求めていたプレイステーション5を売っているお店を幸運なことに発見できまして！

購入して冬休みを楽しみました

 

さて、現実に戻りますが

今年もHARIOでみなさんと一緒に英語で楽しい時間を過ごせることを

心の底から楽しみにしています

 

そして、2月からは

 

HARIOでは春のキャンペーンを開催予定です
