Hello everyone,

How are you doing? It’s December already! This year has flown by! We have started singing Christmas songs in some younger classes and today is the last day to get tickets to the Christmas party. There are only a few tickets left, but if you ring Hario today, we should be able to reserve a place. Speaking of the Christmas party, preparations are underway and it should be a lot of fun. Santa will be there, and he’s checking if you’re naughty or nice.

みなさん、こんにちは。

いかがお過ごしですか。もう１２月ですね。もうすぐ今年も終わりです。

HARIOでは幼児クラスやPLS１０・９級クラスでクリスマスソングを歌い始めました。このクリスマスソングは、クリスマス会で歌います。

今日がクリスマス会参加者募集の最終日となります。まだ若干の余裕がございます。

参加を希望される皆さんは、至急お電話くださいね。

クリスマス会の準備も順調にすすんでいます。たのしい会になることまちがいなしです。

サンタさんも来てくれます。サンタさんは、皆がいい子でいるかどうか今もみていますよ。

I have been wearing my Leeds University tie the last few days. It’s my alma mater. Alma mater is a word from latin that means your old school or university. It happens to be dark red and green. A few students asked me if it was a Christmas tie. Actually it isn’t. Did I choose it by coincidence or did I subconciously choose it for its Christmas colours? Who knows?

ここ数日、リーズ大学のネクタイをしています。リーズ大学は私の母校です。”alma mater”という言葉はラテン語で、母校という意味です。ネクタイは濃い赤とグリーンなので、生徒達がクリスマスのネクタイかと聞いてきますが、違うんですよ。偶然です。

This Sunday I’ll be going to Pacific Language School in Tokyo for a training session. It’s a chance to talk with and learn from Ray Ormandy and the other trainers there. Alan is going on Monday too. I’m sure I’ll get lots of good ideas and inspiration from the day which I can use in my classes and with training the other staff members. One of the benefits of the PLS sister school arrangement that we are a part of is the training opportunities.

今週の日曜日は、PLSスクールの本部である東京に研修にいく予定です。

今回は、PLSシステム®立案者であるレイ・オーマンティ氏から直接、講義を受けることができます。アランは月曜日にいきます。この研修で、授業をよりよくするための沢山のアイディアを学ぶことができると思います。また、私がスタッフを研修するときにも役立つと思います。
