Countdown to Halloween and the Speech Contest

Hello everyone,

This week we are beginning our countdown to Halloween week at Hario. There is just over a week to go until we start the special week on Friday, October 25th. We will all get dressed up in costumes, I hope it isn’t too scary for you! I’m expecting to see lots of terrifying or funny costumes on our students too. Get ready for an amazing Halloween experience.

This year, our speech contest earlier than in previous years, on November 4th. So, it comes right after our Halloween week. We are busy preparing for the contest now, and our students can find photo boards of themselves to decorate. They put so much hard work into the speeches, it’s a good idea for them decorate their photo boards with messages and drawings. It adds the personal touch to their own contest in Rose Theater. The parents will enjoy looking for their children’s message on the day. Not long after the speech contest, we will have the mini-speech contest here at Hario. The parents will come to our class and all of our speech students will perform for us. I’m impressed with everyone’s hard-work and dedication this year. So, all of our students deserve a big round of applause from their parents, classmates and teachers. With Halloween week, the speech contest, and the mini-speech contest all on the way, our students have three events to prepare for! Good luck and enjoy yourselves!

今週はハリオのハロウィンウィークに向けたカウントダウンが始まります。

ハロウィンウィークが10月25日金曜日から始まるまであと少しです。我々スタッフもコスチュームを着る予定ですが、あまり怖くないといいですね！生徒たちもたくさんの恐ろしいコスチュームや面白いコスチュームを見せてくれることを期待しています。素晴らしいハロウィン体験を楽しむ準備をしましょう

今年のスピーチコンテストは、例年よりも早く11月4日に行われます。ちょうどハロウィンウィークが終わった直後ですね。現在、コンテストの準備に追われており、生徒たちは自分のクラス写真ボードに装飾をしています。スピーチに一生懸命取り組んでいるので、写真ボードにメッセージや絵を描いて個人的なタッチを加えるのも良いアイデアです。保護者の皆さんも当日にお子さんのメッセージを探して楽しむことでしょう。
