Hello everyone!

 

I hope you all enjoyed your Spring Vacation! It’s been a busy week for some of our students as they have been coming for extra classes and going to their school clubs for 3+ hours every day. I hope you had time for rest and relaxation!

 

It’s an exciting week as it’s finally the return of the Major League baseball season. This year will hopefully be a full season as 2020 was shortened quite a bit due to Covid-19. Even my hometown team wasn’t able to play their games last year in 2020 due to Canada having more strict rules about travel and banning people from entering Canada from the US in most cases (which was a very smart thing to do as the US wasn’t doing a good job at all with Covid-19).

 

It’s also an exciting year for my hometown team as they got some great new players and their younger players are looking to take the next step to becoming elite players. I don’t think they will be playing in their home stadium again this year but as I’m in Japan I’ll be watching their games on TV anyway!

みなさん、春休みを楽しんでいますか！一部の生徒は、冬期講習を受講し、そして学校の部活を間毎日３時間ほどやっているそうです。皆さんが残りの休みをリラックスできることを願っています。

今週ややっと野球のメジャーリーグが開始になります。去年はコロナの影響でシーズンがかなり短くなったので

今年はフルでできることを願っています。私の故郷のチームも去年はゲームができませんでした。

カナダはコロナに対して非常に厳しい制限をとっていて、アメリカからのカナダの入国が禁止されていました。

今年、故郷のチームは新しい選手を入れ、若手選手はとても成長してきています。今年もホームでプレイすることはできないと思いますが、私はテレビで日本から応援したいと思います。
